The batten hook 460®-2 is suitable to secure natural slate as well as fibre cement tiles. It can be used for standard slate formats and many tiling styles on subconstructions consisting of timber batten or metal struts. The batten hook 460®-2 can be easily clipped onto the batten between the rafters. Adapted to the head-lap, the standard batten size and the tile thickness, the hook is a secure and quickly-installed fastener. The newly smoothed end of the clip reduces the risk of injuries.
In order to simplify the handling of the hook for roofers, FOS offers the 460®-2 collated on plastic strips. Each strip contains 25 hooks and is suitable for the FOS ClipHOLSTER®
. The collated hooks allow for swift removal from its package.
On the roof the use of the ClipHOLSTER accelerates the installation considerably. Because the ClipHOLSTER is fastened to the belt, the hooks are within easy reach. The roofer has his hands free and can therefore work more efficiently. Empty magazine strips can be replaced quickly and conveniently. Note: When mounting 460®-2 strips, the red protective cover cannot be used.
The batten hook 460®-2 is available in various lengths for standard tile thicknesses. The product locator FOS ClipCHECK®
determines the perfect clip by entering the area of application, the type of mounting, the roof tile and the batten. Stainless steel 1.4301 (A2) or stainless steel 1.4571 (A4) grade guarantee the batten hook’s long-lasting durability. Batten hooks from black lacquered stainless steel are nearly invisible on roof and facade.
