DACH+HOLZ International 2026 recorded 55,933 trade visitors – making it the strongest edition ever held in Cologne. A total of 564 exhibitors from 28 countries presented their products and services across 71,000 m² of exhibition space. With an international share of 22.7 per cent, the fair once again confirmed its position as a leading platform for the European roofing and timber construction industry.
FOS® exhibited from 24 to 27 February 2026 in Hall 6 | Stand 6.309 and made intensive use of the event for professional exchange with roofing contractors, specialist merchants, industry partners and planners.
Key topics at the FOS® stand:

- Optimised hip and valley clips
The focus was on tested fastening solutions for roof tiles and façade claddings. Particularly in demand were the optimised hip and valley clips 512 and 513, offering high holding power, an extended clamping range and tool-free installation. Numerous discussions centred on specific detailing situations such as cut tiles or complex junction areas.
- Collated clips and installation efficiency
Another highlight was collated clips for efficient installation on pitched roofs. In combination with the ClipHOLSTER, they enable significant time savings, ergonomic working and consistently reliable fastening quality. Many specialist contractors showed strong interest in optimising workflows in wind uplift protection.
- Tested quality and structured processes
FOS®’s in-house test rigs in accordance with EN 14437 and the certified management system to ISO 9001 were further key discussion points. Many visitors were interested in transparent testing procedures and the systematic safeguarding of consistent product quality throughout the entire value chain.
- Sustainability and resource efficiency
As part of the Dachkult guided tour, architects and planners also visited the FOS® stand specifically to learn more about recycled content in materials, packaging solutions and additional sustainability aspects such as regional supply chains. Resource efficiency was widely regarded across trades as a strategically important factor for future construction projects.
- Digital planning tools
The digital tools WindCHECK, ClipCHECK and CombiCHECK attracted considerable interest, particularly from specialist merchants and installers. The demand for fast, standards-compliant decision-making tools in day-to-day operations was clearly evident in many conversations.
Once again this year, the Clip Pong game brought plenty of excitement and fun to the stand:
High-level professional exchange
The atmosphere throughout the halls was characterised by constructive dialogue and concrete technical discussions on standards, detailing, efficiency and forward-looking topics such as sustainability and artificial intelligence in the trades. Industry associations also described the exhibition as an important driver of innovation and collaboration.
For FOS®, personal dialogue remained the key priority – with the aim of communicating technical solutions clearly and providing practical answers to current challenges.
“DACH+HOLZ 2026 was an extremely valuable platform for us. The discussions were technically sound, yet open and collaborative. We clearly sensed that quality, efficiency and standards-compliant solutions are central concerns for many businesses.” — Matthias Bayer, Head of Sales & Marketing, FOS®
The next DACH+HOLZ International will take place in Stuttgart from 7 to 10 March 2028. The FOS team would like to thank all visitors for the intensive exchange in Cologne and looks forward to seeing everyone again in Stuttgart.
