The company Friedrich Ossenberg-Schule GmbH + Co KG (FOS), Europe-wide leading specialist for wind uplift security, exhibits at ROOF + TIMBER 2016. The international leading fair for roofing trade takes place from 2 – 5 February in Stuttgart. FOS is presenting its extensive product portfolio to the professional audience in Hall 5 at Stand 5.312. The new beaver tail clip 425 will be introduced as an up-to-date innovation example.
Different roof and concrete tiles are used all across Europe. There is a wide selection of storm, ridge and facade clips due to the variety of roof tile forms. FOS develops more than 6,000 products not only for the storm security of common roof tiles, but also to identify best suited applications for storm clip and roof tile pairings.
Clip allocation made easy
To ensure that storm security fulfills the requirement of specialised regulations and Eurocodes, it is recommended to position and secure clip optimally on the tile. For all professionals who would like to obtain more information regarding wind uplift security, different online tools are made available at www.fos.de. Contractors could perform product determination much faster by using the free professional wind uplift calculation tool. After indicating roof tiles and building specifications, users receive an analysis about clips suitability for their given object. A dimensional illustration will show whether and which roof areas, and how strong they need to be secured.
Seeking dialogue with professional audience
Close business partnership with roof tile manufacturers, distributors and roofing sector is important for FOS. “We have been exhibiting regularly at ROOF + TIMBER International since 20 years ago, and keeping good conversation with contractors there. We hope to hold active exchanges of views with roofers and manufacturers at the fair to maintain our contacts with them. Such exchanges are important driving force of innovation for us. Many suggestions have been transformed into marketable products, and this applies too in 2016 when we introduce our new innovation at the fair.” explained Jan Kaemper, company director of FOS.
Launch of the new clip 425 for beaver roof covering
Our 425 has raised great interest especially in south and east Germany areas since beaver roof covering is widespread in these regions. The 425 combines its handy form with an innovative installation and advanced laying pattern. Contractors benefit from short installation time and these considerably smaller products and package sizes facilitate better handling on the roofs. Fair visitors are welcomed to visit our Stand 5.312, located in Hall 5, to find out more and be convinced of the resistance capability of beaver tail clip 425.
