The pitched roof is the most popular design in Germany, currently representing 65 % of all roofs in the non-commercial sector. The initiative ‘Pitched roof’ uses its campaign ‘Dachkult’ on its internet site
to showcase numerous advantages and design possibilities as an important part of the modern building culture. In order to draw more attention to the pitched roof, ‘Dachkult’ organises, in addition to online activities, the Rooftop Talks event series and publishes the architecture magazine 'stadt/land/dach'. Spokesman Klaus H. Niemann was pleased about FOS's partnership in support of the initiative.
