Professional storm security on roofs often requires additional installation time. Friedrich Ossenberg-Schule GmbH + Co KG (FOS), Hemer, presents their new beaver tail clip 425 at ROOF + TIMBER International 2016 (2- 5 February, Stuttgart) for the first time. Storm security of beaver roof covering has greatly reduced installation time and material costs of storm clips in the next generation.
The 425 combines its handy form with innovative installation and advanced laying pattern. The clip is small in measurement (an average of 55mm by 20 mm) but strong. The new form prevents clips from interlocking and simplifies the installation process while requiring no tools.
The clip is inserted from the front through the joint of the beaver tail tile, and connects the tiles through the side wings. The notch at the end of the clip connects the beaver with the substructure while the mass point ensures optimal clip positioning on the batten. Installation time for storm security is reduced significantly through the use of 425. Its light weight and small size packaging facilitate handling on roofs and in the warehouses.
Each package contains 500 pieces, capable of fixing up an average roof area of 22 m2. In contrast to the known diagonal laying pattern, the new beaver tail clips are to be installed in rows. This results in higher wind uplift resistance and its simple laying pattern facilitates additional time saving.
The 425 will be offered in differing sizes and produced in stainless steel and ZIAL. It boasts a good price performance besides Made-in-Germany quality. Delivery will be possible from the end of April 2016 onwards.
The beaver tail clip 425 has raised great interest especially in south and east Germany areas since beaver roof covering is widespread in these regions. Fair visitors are welcomed to visit our Stand 5.312, located in Hall 5, to find out more and be convinced of the resistance capability of beaver tail clip 425.
