As of 1 January 2023, Matthias Bayer (51) is going to be the national and international Sales Director at FOS®. He will report directly to Michael Wecker (62), who has been both the Commercial and Sales Director until now.
As part of the long-term preparation for Michael Wecker's retirement at the end of 2024, he is now handing over responsibility for sales. This will ensure a seamless transition and the further development of processes and organisational procedures. Furthermore, with the new management position, FOS® is taking into account the positive development of the company as well as the increased demands on customer service.
"The priority on my agenda is the alignment and implementation of FOS's strategic sales goals and the expansion of service and customer orientation in order to position our company well into the future," says the new Sales Director, who has been working in Hemer at the manufacturing company for storm and ridge clips, securing and wind up lift protection of tiles on roofs and façades.
"The core idea and high value of a product are important prerequisites for me to fully engage with the product and company. This is 100% the case with the storm and ridge clips. Matthias Bayer, who most recently worked for local family run companies as Sales and Marketing Manager, started his professional career in 1992 with a graduate diploma in business administration. He has gained extensive experience both with corporations and medium-sized manufacturers of household appliances and sanitary products. Here he has successfully built up and developed modern sales structures in various management positions. As a consultant, he also supports companies and managers in strategic transformation processes.
